Role Overview
We are recruiting General Labourers to support a live construction project in Paulsgrove, Portsmouth. The role involves assisting with External Wall Insulation (EWI) installation under supervision and carrying out groundworks duties including trench digging. This is a physical, site-based role with clear productivity and health & safety expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with External Wall Insulation (EWI) installation under supervision
- Digging trenches and supporting groundworks activities
- General site labouring, materials handling, and waste removal
- Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised
- Following instructions from site supervisors and management
- Working efficiently while maintaining high health & safety standards
Essential Requirements
- Previous on-site labouring experience is essential.
- Comfortable with physical, manual work in an outdoor environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Able to take instruction and work using own initiative when required
- Strong awareness of site health & safety practices

Performance & Conduct Expectations (Critical)
This site operates a strict zero-tolerance policy on performance, conduct, and safety:
- Any health & safety breach will result in immediate removal from the site
- If output or attitude falls below expected standards, operatives will be asked to leave site immediately. There will not be more than one opportunity.
