Overview
We’re hiring experienced Gas Engineers to join our team delivering essential emergency gas response and maintenance services for one of the UK’s leading utility providers. This is a secure, long-term gas engineering contract offering excellent earning potential, a supportive team culture, and all the tools you need to do your job well.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out emergency gas callouts and planned maintenance visits
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across domestic gas appliances and heating systems
- Working to high safety standards and gas compliance regulations
- Participating in an out-of-hours standby rota (paid standby and overtime)
What You’ll Receive
- Competitive base salary (£37k–£38k depending on location)
- Overtime paid at £35/hour
- Standby payment: £175 for 7-day rota
- Additional £200 standby bonus per on-call week
- Ongoing performance-related bonuses: £500 every 6 months (Attendance, H&S, Productivity)
- Company pension scheme
- Full package: company van, fuel card, tools, uniform, mobile phone, and ongoing training
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified Gas Engineer (ACS certification required)
- Strong understanding of domestic gas systems and fault diagnosis
- Flexibility to support emergency on-call rota
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
