We are hiring an Air Source Heat Pump Trainer to deliver industry-approved training courses at our modern, purpose-built training centre in Whiteley. You will work with engineers transitioning into renewable heating systems, including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), Solar Thermal, and other low-carbon technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver hands-on, in-person training in air source heat pump installation, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning.
  • Support learners through OFTEC and Cert-ain accredited training programmes.
  • Teach complementary modules like Water Regulations, Unvented Hot Water Systems, and Part G (training provided if required).
  • Foster a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment for adult learners.

No Teaching Experience? We'll Train You

You don’t need to be a qualified instructor; we’ll pay for your Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET) and any other assessor qualifications you need. If you’re confident in your technical knowledge, we’ll support you to become a qualified technical trainer.

  • A strong background in plumbing and heating, ideally to NVQ Level 2 or 3.
  • Practical experience working with air source heat pump systems, with training from MCS-certified or manufacturer-led courses.
  • Expertise in fault diagnosis, system compliance, and system design.
  • Clear communication skills and a passion for supporting learners and apprentices.
