Responsible to: Commercial Director / Pre-Construction Manager

To prepare accurate project costings, tender submissions, and commercial proposals across civil engineering, infrastructure, and construction projects, supporting profitable project delivery and continued business growth.

Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy delivering civil, structural, and infrastructure solutions across a diverse project portfolio. They are seeking an experienced Estimator to strengthen their commercial and pre-construction function as project demand continues to grow.

Contract: Contract

Shifts: Monday to Friday

  • Prepare accurate tenders, cost plans, and pricing submissions for civil engineering and construction projects
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Support bid submissions, value engineering, and commercial strategy
  • Prepare contract documentation and assist with pre-construction planning
  • Identify project risks, opportunities, and margin improvement areas

Requirements:

  • Proven Estimating experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, construction, or consultancy sectors
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding
  • Proficiency in Excel and estimating software packages
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
