Responsible for - Safe operation of MIG welding equipment
Client brief - Our client is a specialist supplier of design and manufacture services for a diverse range of industries worldwide.
KEY INFORMATION
Reason for vacancy - Increased demand
Contract - Temporary to permanent
Basic pay - £12.00ph
Shifts - Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm, Fridays 8am-12pm
Breaks - 15-minute 1st break, 30 minute lunch break
Overtime - £15ph Mon-Thurs, £18ph Fridays and weekends (all overtime is optional)
Holidays - Accrual (20 days + BH once permanent)
Facilities - Canteen, staff parking
Additional - Training available to further your licenses and experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role involves:
- Production of welded steel for company product range within a high-quality production environment.
- Reading and interpreting drawings to specification.
- MIG welding using and adhering to welding procedures.
- Ensuring 5S standards are maintained in all areas.
- Adhering to company health and safety requirements at all times.
Individual responsibilities
- Safe operation of MIG Welding kit.
- Responsible for your own output and meeting daily company targets.
Shift duration per day - 8 hours
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Previous MIG welding experience.
- Ability to pass company MIG weld test on interview.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good level of verbal and written English.
