Responsible to: Office Director
Purpose of the role: To support the leadership and growth of the Electrical Engineering team while delivering high-quality electrical building services design across a diverse project portfolio.
Client brief: Our client is an established engineering consultancy with a strong project pipeline across education, healthcare, residential and mixed-use developments. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide leadership, technical expertise and support the continued growth of the Plymouth office.
KEY INFORMATION

- Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience (typically £60,000 - £80,000+)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects
- Support the Office Director in managing the Electrical Engineering team
- Oversee electrical design across sectors including education, healthcare and residential developments
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
- Manage project budgets, programmes and resource allocation
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Support the winning of new work and business development activities
Key Skills Required
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Extensive experience in electrical building services design
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Chartered Engineer status desirable
