Responsible to: Office Director

Purpose of the role: To support the leadership and growth of the Electrical Engineering team while delivering high-quality electrical building services design across a diverse project portfolio.

Client brief: Our client is an established engineering consultancy with a strong project pipeline across education, healthcare, residential and mixed-use developments. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide leadership, technical expertise and support the continued growth of the Plymouth office.

KEY INFORMATION

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects
  • Support the Office Director in managing the Electrical Engineering team
  • Oversee electrical design across sectors including education, healthcare and residential developments
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
  • Manage project budgets, programmes and resource allocation
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Support the winning of new work and business development activities

Key Skills Required

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Extensive experience in electrical building services design
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Chartered Engineer status desirable
