Responsible to - Block Management Director

Purpose of the role - Your day-to-day responsibilities will be primarily to provide administration support to the team of block managers with varying tasks. You will be working within a friendly and supportive environment providing administration support to a close-knit team. Matthews Block Management is an independent family run business, established for 14 years covering Cheshire, North Wales and Shropshire. There is the opportunity to progress within the role and we would support you studying towards membership of the Institute of Residential Property Management, should you wish to do so.

Client brief - Our client is a family run independent Block Management company where traditional values, excellent communication and service are paramount. They are a close knit, friendly team of 10 going through a period of sustained organic growth. If you are motivated by providing great service to clients and building good working relationships, then this is the job for you!

KEY INFORMATION

  • Reason for vacancy - Continued growth
  • Contract - Permanent
  • Basic pay - £18,525
  • Shifts - Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
  • Breaks - 1 hour lunch break (unpaid)
  • Holidays - 30 days holiday including Bank Holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role - As an Administration Assistant your role will involve the below:

  • Processing invoices
  • Writing and issuing notices to residents
  • Preparing notices of AGMs
  • Obtaining quotes from contractors
  • Issuing legal notices on behalf of the Legal Administration Manager and assisting with general administration
  • Answering phone calls and emails and allocating them to the relevant person
  • Assisting with diarising and arranging Health and Safety and Fire Risk assessments etc.

Minimum requirements - Excellent organisation and planning skills, attention to detail, good customer service skills, computer skills. Good Standard of English and Maths.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in property management
  • Full driving license
