Purpose of the role - Assisting site in the production of high‑quality seating systems for multiple industries around the globe.
Client brief - Our client is a world leading producer of seating equipment with sites all over the world. Their flagship UK operation is based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate, offering excellent on‑site facilities and further training in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.
Key Information
- Reason for vacancy - Increased demand
- Contract - Temporary to Permanent (480 hours agency with guaranteed permanent contract on completion)
- Hourly Rate - £13.50ph - £15.58ph depending on ability
- Overtime Rate - 1.5x basic rate
- Shifts - Mon to Thurs 6:00 am – 4:15 pm
- Holidays - Accrual, 20 + Bank holidays when permanent
- Facilities – Site is a very clean and professional environment, well kept, with canteen and on‑site parking, and excellent public transport links to site

Responsibilities
The role – Our client is looking for MIG Welders to join their existing Welding Department at their UK head office on Wrexham Industrial Estate. This position is temporary to permanent, full time. The Welding Department assists the site in the production of high‑quality seating systems for multiple industries around the globe. The purpose of this position is to weld mild and stainless steel components using jigs.
- Production of welded steel for the company product range within a high‑quality production environment.
- MIG welding using and adhering to welding procedures.
- Reading and interpreting drawings to specification.
- Ensure 5S standards are maintained in all areas.
- Adhering to company health and safety requirements at all times.
Key Skills Required
- Previous MIG welding experience.
- Ability to pass company MIG weld test on interview.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good level of verbal and written English.
