Job Title: Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer Operator Nights
Site location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Responsible to: Shift Manager
Purpose of the role: To support the warehouse, Stock Rotation and Replenishment of customer goods with the safe operation of Bendi / Flexi trucks / Pivot Steer and use of hand scanners.
Client brief: Our client is a world-renowned Warehousing organisation supporting blue chip companies with warehousing and distribution functions.
Key Information
Reason for vacancy: Increased Demand
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hourly Rate: £15.24ph
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 10pm-6am
Overtime: Regular optional overtime available also @ 1.5x basic rate = £22.86ph
Holidays: Accrual
Facilities: Long standing operation very well kept offering excellent facilities including free on-site parking, canteen areas (inclusive of all kitchen facilities and vending machines)
Responsibilities
- Accurately and safely operating a Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer Truck within site health and safety requirements at all times.
- Rotating stock, storing and collecting products from pallets with use of Bendi Truck & handheld scanners.
- Working within a team to complete daily warehouse targets.
- Delivering a high standard of productivity at all times to ensure smooth operation within the warehouse.
- Handling stock respectfully, with a high attention to detail.
- All other generalist warehousing duties.
Key Skills Required
- Previous experience operating Bendi / Flexi trucks / Pivot Steer is essential.
- Bendi / Flexi / Pivot Steer license holder is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with handscanners is essential.
- Must be reliable and committed.
- Must be able to communicate in English to a high standard (verbal and written).
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks.
