Serpentine is seeking a Digital Systems Archive Technician who can shape and support a major digital transformation project within the organisation, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for and lead the technical implementation and configuration of a digital preservation system. Alongside managing the ingest of digital assets ensuring integrity, sustainability and long-term accessibility whilst embedding new preservation practices across the organisation.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proficient technical literacy, including the ability to read and produce system architecture diagrams and functional configurations.
- Strong project management skills to ensure system implementation and rollout within 12-month period.
- Methodical, analytical, and insightful problem-solving skills to understand technical testing procedures and solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate across teams.
