We\'re looking for a proactive and organised producer to help bring bold, experimental projects to life at the intersection of art and technology.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK\'s most pioneering contemporary arts organisations at a time of innovation and digital exploration. We\'re seeking an Arts Technologies Producer (Maternity Cover) to support the development and delivery of Serpentine\'s cutting-edge Arts Technologies programme – working closely with artists, technologists, and collaborators to realise ambitious projects that connect creativity with new technologies.
As Arts Technologies Producer, you\'ll play a key role in managing production across a range of projects – from prototyping new commissions to delivering live and touring events. You\'ll coordinate internal workflows, schedules, and budgets, liaise with artists and creative teams, and ensure projects run smoothly from concept through to completion.
Working closely with the R&D Strategic Lead and the wider Arts Technologies team, you\'ll help maintain the systems and processes that support this fast-paced, experimental programme – enabling Serpentine to continue pushing the boundaries of what an art institution can do in the digital age.
We\'re after a confident and collaborative problem-solver with:
- Proven experience producing or managing creative and/or digital projects.
- Excellent organisational, communication and budgeting skills.
- Familiarity with creative and technical workflows – whether in performance, gaming, film, immersive or interactive contexts.
- Experience using tools such as Asana, Miro, Trello, Slack or Git.
- The ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- A genuine interest in art, technology and creative R&D.
It would also be great if you have:
- Experience with livestreaming, Twitch or social media analytics in an arts context.
- Knowledge of immersive technologies, gaming or virtual production.
- A basic understanding of programming languages (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, C#).
Why join us?
At Serpentine, we champion new ideas in contemporary art and connect artists and audiences around the world. You\'ll be part of a small, collaborative team that values experimentation, care and curiosity – helping to deliver projects that are as innovative as they are impactful.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in creative environments, enjoys problem-solving, and is excited by the possibilities of technology in artistic practice.
If you\'re passionate about art, digital culture and working with artists to bring ambitious ideas to life, we\'d love to hear from you.
