- Speculative applications welcome
At Sero, we believe in homes that do more, energy that costs less, and a future that is fairer.
We partner with some of the UK's largest social housing landlords to upgrade homes with smart green technology, including solar panels and a battery, so they run more efficiently and cost less to power.
You do not need to be an expert in energy to work with us, because that is the part we have covered.
We started back in 2017 around a kitchen table in Newport, and today we are a certified B Corp based in the heart of Cardiff, driven to make Net Zero homes simple and affordable for everyone.
We are powered by passion, guided by purpose, and made up of people from all sorts of backgrounds and journeys, brought together by one shared mission.
We do not have any live roles to advertise right now, but we are always interested in getting to know people who could be a great fit in the future.
If you can picture yourself doing good work here, this is your invitation to introduce yourself and join our talent pool, so we can be in touch when the right opportunity comes up.
Where our people work
We recruit across a range of teams, and talented people find a home with us in all of them.
- Retrofit. The people who make warmer, more efficient homes happen, including Retrofit Coordinators, Assessors, Surveyors and Project Managers.
- Technology. The people building the tools and data behind our work, including software engineers, data scientists and product roles.
- Customer experience and billing.
Our Customer Experience Advisers and billing experts, whose work makes sure residents get the best possible experience, which is one of our strongest aims.
- Central functions. The people who keep everything running, across areas like People, Finance, Operations, Commercial and Marketing.
If your experience sits in or around these areas, or you bring something we have not thought of yet, we would love to hear from you.
Our values
Our values (we call them our non-negotiables) are more than words. They guide everything we do, from technology decisions to doorstep chats.
- People first: putting people first, always.
- Integrity: doing the right thing, not the easy thing.
- Innovation: solving tomorrow's problems, today.
- Committed: we get the job done well.
- Sustainability: dream green and raise the bar.
- How we work
Full-time and flexible hours/patterns available β We understand that life is more than just work, so we're happy to discuss flexible working arrangements around childcare and other life-balance commitments.
