Remote (1 day a week in London) · £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience
If you love, live and breathe making paid ads, keep reading.
A quick bit on us, so you know who you’re creating for...
Serious Tissues was started by four parents who discovered just how many trees get cut down to make loo roll and decided that was a bit ridiculous. So, we make ours from 100% recycled paper. We're a social enterprise too, so every purchase drives real social and environmental change.
Paid social is at the heart of this opportunity, and we need someone who lives and breathes ad creative to fuel it.
The role, in a nutshell
This is an ad creative role. Day to day, you'll be making ads for our paid channels: statics, carousels, videos, UGC edits and plenty of iterations.
You'll work closely with our Growth Marketing Manager on what's winning, what's not and what's coming up next, and turn that into new concepts.
Along with the paid ads, you will have the opportunity to leave your mark across our organic social, Amazon, Website, print and other channels.
A typical week might include
- Building a fresh batch of ad concepts from a campaign brief
- Taking a winning video and cutting it into five new hooks and three new lengths
- Turning a customer review into a static that quietly beats everything else
- Digging into last week's results with the Growth Marketing Manager and deciding what to double down on
- Briefing a creator, then editing their raw footage into ads that actually convert
- Resizing the winners for every placement
- Throwing in a few ideas nobody asked for (we want those)
Around the edges
- Organic social: repurposing and adapting creative for our other channels
- Creators: finding, briefing and building relationships with creators who fit us
- Amazon: listing imagery, A+ Content and Sponsored Brand Video
- Website: product pages, landing pages and promo content on Shopify
- Print & brand: flyers, box inserts and the occasional deck
We’re looking for
- A portfolio of paid social ads you've made and are proud of
- Confidence in your design tool of choice, whether that's Canva, Figma or Adobe
- A knack for short-form video editing
- A good instinct for what makes an ad work, and a habit of noticing why others don't
- An interest in performance data and what sits behind the winners
- The ability to keep quality high when the volume ramps up
- Nice to have: some Shopify experience, including simple site edits in Liquid
Bonus points (not dealbreakers): UGC and creator management, Amazon content, photography, motion graphics or video production.
This is for you if...
- You genuinely love making ads. Not tolerate. Love.
- You browse the Meta Ad Library for fun (and screenshot the good ones)
- You'd rather test ten ideas than polish one forever
- You get a proper buzz when your ad wins, and you want to know why the others didn't
- You'll take a brief and run with it, but you'll challenge it if you've got a better idea
- You like the idea of your day job doing some actual good
Why join us?
- Your work gets seen. Lots. By real customers, every single day.
- Your ideas matter. We'd much rather you brought your own personality to it than played it safe.
- It means something. Every ad that works means more recycled rolls sold and more investment our end into social and environmental causes.
- We're nice to work with. A friendly, down-to-earth team that talks like humans, with flexibility when life happens and regular meet-ups to get together.
- 20 days paid holiday + bank holidays
- Hybrid working (4 at home, 1 in London).
- Enrolment into employer pension scheme
- Cheaper toilet paper for you with our staff discount)
