About Us

At Old Spike and Serious Tissues, we believe business should be a force for good.

  • Serious Tissues is a fast-growing, eco household goods brand tackling the climate crisis one roll at a time. We make everyday essentials — like toilet paper, kitchen roll and tissues — that are 100% recycled, plastic-free, and doing more good than harm.
  • Old Spike is a specialty coffee roastery and social enterprise helping people experiencing homelessness into meaningful employment. Through our cafés, wholesale coffee, and ecommerce platform, we bring mission-led coffee to thousands of customers every day.

Together, we’re building better businesses that scale impact without compromising on quality. We’re now looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help us take both brands to the next level.

The Role

As our Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll lead and execute digital growth strategies across both brands — spanning acquisition, retention, conversion optimisation, and performance reporting. From paid campaigns and lifecycle marketing to CRO and analytics, you’ll be the person connecting the dots between strategy, execution, and results.

You’ll work directly with the leadership team, external creatives, and paid media freelancers (where needed) to build scalable growth engines that don’t just drive short-term sales — but long-term value.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who’s analytical, entrepreneurial, and mission-aligned. You’ll split your time and priorities between two very different but complementary brands — and help build marketing systems that can scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

Acquisition & Paid Media

  • Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and other channels
  • Test new platforms (TikTok, YouTube, affiliates, etc.) to identify growth opportunities
  • Manage budgets, track ROAS, and build structured test-and-learn frameworks

Lifecycle Marketing & CRM

  • Own email marketing strategy (acquisition, retention, winback, newsletters)
  • Build automated flows and segmentation strategies to increase LTV
  • Work closely with our ecomm team to optimise Shopify customer journeys

Website & Conversion Optimisation

  • Work with Shopify to monitor and improve website performance, navigation, and conversion
  • Own website updates and optimisations
  • Collaborate with developers or freelancers on A/B tests and UX changes
  • Track and improve SEO rankings and organic traffic across both brands

Analytics & Reporting

  • Create dashboards and regular performance reports across all key channels
  • Set KPIs and benchmarks for growth performance
  • Use data to make informed decisions and shape future growth strategy

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years experience in a growth or performance role
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth through paid and owned channels
  • Confident managing Meta & Google Ads and interpreting performance data
  • Experience using Shopify, Klaviyo and GA4 - ideally high level in Klaviyo
  • Strong analytical skills — able to turn data into clear, actionable insights
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working across two brands with different tones and audiences

Nice to Have

  • Experience in D2C, FMCG, or e-commerce brands
  • Familiarity with CRO tools
  • Interest in social enterprise, sustainability, or ethical consumer goods
  • Experience briefing and managing creatives or agencies
