Series Eight is searching for a Senior Project Manager to join our remote team on a full-time basis. We're an award-winning, independent digital agency, founded in 2015. We work across brand identity, design and development for established businesses, luxury brands and ambitious B2B clients around the world. We're a team of twenty-three, mostly in the UK, with people dotted across Portugal, Spain, Italy and Cyprus.
We're after someone already operating at a senior level. Someone who takes genuine ownership — not just of timelines and budgets, but of outcomes. Someone who can hold a room, earn a client's trust, and keep a team moving without being the loudest voice in it. Calm under pressure, sharp on the detail, and genuinely interested in the work, not just the process. You'll have room to be fully yourself here, personality and spirit included.
The role
You'll lead brand, website and e-commerce projects from first briefing through to final launch — owning the client relationship, the internal team, and everything in between. You'll work across 4–6 month projects alongside designers, developers and copywriters, as the person who holds it all together.
What you'll do
- Raise the bar (then repeat)
- Run projects end to end — on brief, on time, on budget, to our quality standards
- Turn vague client briefs into clear deliverables, accurate roadmaps and well-sequenced team assignments
- Spot what could go wrong before it does, and have a plan
- Zero ego, all action
- Take full ownership of your projects and the outcomes within them — not just your slice of it
- Do what you said you'd do, when you said you would
- Bring solutions, not just flags
- Facilitate decisions without needing to own them
- Own it when things go wrong, with a plan for what comes next
- Bring the energy
- Show up as a full person, not just a process manager — bring your voice and your perspective
- Contribute to the culture as much as the delivery — everyone has a hand in it here
- Ask "what would this look like if it were fun?" and mean it
- Genuinely human
- Be the person clients trust and the team can rely on
- Brief designers, developers and copywriters clearly, and hold them kindly accountable
- Communicate directly — especially when things get complicated
What we're looking for
- Already operating at a senior level — you're running complex projects independently, not learning how
- 3+ years in a project management role at a digital agency
- Real experience running brand, website or e-commerce projects full-cycle
- Strong client relationship skills — you can hold a room and handle difficult conversations without losing composure
- Clear, confident communicator in writing and in person
- An understanding of how design and development actually work — you don't need to do it, but knowing the craft helps
- Organised but adaptable — no project goes exactly to plan
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Craft CMS or Shopify (even basic is fine)
- Bonus points for
- Technical experience
- A genuine eye for what makes a brand or website good — not just on time
Why join us
- Fully remote
- Genuinely interesting work — fintech, healthtech, SaaS, luxury and e-commerce
- Paid days for self-directed learning
- 32 days' annual leave including bank holidays
- Two weeks paid holiday at the end of the year to rest
- Enhanced parental and sick leave
- Company hardware
- An annual team trip
- Competitive salary
