Serenity School Eltham is looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our inclusive and therapeutic learning community. You will work closely with our SENDCo, therapists, and support staff to deliver high-quality, individualized education in a nurturing and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, differentiated Maths lessons for pupils with SEN.
- Implement EHCP targets and personalized learning plans.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and assessments.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and external professionals to ensure joined-up support.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified teacher with PGCE, QTS or recognized equivalent.
- Strong Maths subject knowledge.
- Experience or interest in working with SEN (e.g. autism, speech and language needs).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Patient, nurturing, and flexible approach.
