Role Description

Complex Care Nurses provide high-quality, person-centered nursing care to individuals with complex health needs in the London Area, United Kingdom.

This is a full-time, on-site role that involves delivering clinical interventions, monitoring symptoms, administering medication, and managing care plans in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing needs, updating documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and communicating clearly with individuals and their support networks.

Complex Care Nurses also contribute to risk assessments, promote safety and dignity, and support continuous improvement in care practices.

Qualifications

  • Current nursing registration (e. g., NMC registration) and eligibility to practice as a Registered Nurse in the United Kingdom.
  • Experience in complex care settings, such as long-term conditions, neurological conditions, palliative care, or intensive community support.
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills, including the ability to monitor, interpret, and respond to changes in health status.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment, coordinating with healthcare professionals, social care providers, and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, advocate for individuals, and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Commitment to person-centered care, safeguarding, and adherence to clinical governance, policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, maintain accurate records, and work flexibly across shifts as required.
  • Relevant post-qualification training or certifications in complex care, community nursing, or specialist clinical areas are beneficial.
