We are looking for a motivated and experienced Childcare Manager to lead our well-established early years setting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about high-quality childcare, confident in leading a team, and eager to bring fresh ideas into a supportive setting.
You’ll have the opportunity to make the role your own, drive quality improvements, and help shape the future of the provision alongside an established and dedicated team.

Pay & Hours
- Pay: From £14 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Hours: Minimum 29 hours per week, up to approximately 45 hours per week
The Role Includes:
- Leading, motivating and supporting an early years team
- Staff supervision, appraisals and day-to-day performance support
- Rota planning and maintaining staffing ratios
- Supporting quality improvement in line with the Quality for All framework
- Ensuring CIW compliance and supporting inspections
- Building positive relationships with children, families and staff
- Maintaining strong safeguarding practice, including referrals where required
- Supporting children with a range of individual needs, including awareness of ALN legislation and inclusive practice

Essential Requirements:
- Level 5 CCLD (or equivalent)
- Previous leadership or management experience within early years
- Good knowledge of CIW requirements and inspection processes
- Confidence with staff management
- Full driving licence
Desirable:
- Flying Start Expansion experience
- Experience leading a CIW inspection
- Knowledge of Welsh early years frameworks and inclusive practice
- Rota planning
- Quality monitoring
