Join the dedicated team at Woodgate Aviation NI Ltd, an essential part of the wider SERE Aviation Group. We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Person/Handy Person to support maintenance across our facilities, helping deliver a secure, highly functional environment for our ongoing aviation operations. You will play a key role in delivering a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our clients, passengers, and staff while overseeing the smooth day-to-day operation of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facility & Client Experience
    Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from staff and clients.
  • Maintenance Operations
    Carry out day-to-day maintenance across offices, hangars, and back-of-house areas.
    Complete a variety of repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical tasks, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep.
    Support and coordinate preventative maintenance programmes across the facility.
    Assist in monitoring external contractor work, ensuring maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
    Ensure compliance with facility fire safety and life safety systems.
    Identify, report, and proactively address maintenance risks or hazards.
    Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in line with industry compliance standards.
  • General Operations
    Assist in monitoring building systems, including HVAC, water, and electrical systems.
    Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and compliance documentation.
    Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives across the site.
    Ensure maintenance stock, tools, and equipment are securely organised and well-maintained.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a similar hands-on role is essential.
