Serco are recruiting for a Technician to join our team at University of Wishaw Hospital. Within this role you will be providing a safe and efficient maintenance service throughout the hospital as directed by the Estates Supervisors and Management.
Main Accountabilities
- Carrying out specialist work where required to include boiler servicing & repairs, testing & validation of decontamination equipment.
- Carrying out planned preventive and reactive maintenance to a wide range of plant and equipment covering electrical, mechanical and building services.
- You will also be required to use technical electronic test equipment, being able to measure, record and interpret readings.
What You’ll Need To Do The Role
- Hold a Mechanical City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent/other qualifications with Building Service or engineering discipline.
- Knowledge and previous experience of working within a mechanical and plumbing role.
- Previous experience of working with electrical and air conditioning.
- Ability to concentrate on tasks and think clearly under pressure.
