Schedule
Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5.30am to 2pm. Overtime available on night shifts, day shifts and weekends.

Street Cleansing Operative in our environmental services team, you'll help keep local streets, public spaces, and communities clean, safe, and welcoming.
Your work has purpose, supporting the delivery of high-quality street cleansing services that make a positive impact every day.

- What You’ll Do As a Street Cleansing Operative
- Carry out programmed and responsive street cleansing activities in line with service requirements and environmental standards.
- Operate cleansing machinery and equipment safely and effectively, using the skills and knowledge required for the role.
- Support the achievement of key performance indicators by delivering work to agreed standards.
- Complete daily inspections of machinery and vehicles, reporting any issues and ensuring equipment remains clean and serviceable.
- Maintain excellent customer and client relationships, including positive interactions with members of the public.
- Follow all health and safety requirements and take part in training to support growth, development, and continuous improvement.
