Job Type: Full time – 37.5 hours per week. Salary: Up to £30,000, depending on experience & skills, plus Serco benefits. Full UK driving licence must be held. Vehicle and tools provided.
Here at Serco, we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to assist individuals through the asylum system, which includes providing them with temporary accommodation.
Responsibilities- Ensure all requested repairs, both reactive and proactive, are carried out to required standard and within SLA deadlines.
- Plan and manage own workflow and work collaboratively with team members when necessary.
- Maintain Health & Safety compliance for yourself and all users of the property during and after works.
- Purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers only.
- Inspect and maintain company vehicles, ensuring they remain in a professional and clean condition.
Mon to Fri: 7.5 hours per day between 08:00 and 18:00 to meet operational needs. Out‑of‑hours on‑call duties on a rota basis – required once every 8‑10 weeks.
