Schedule: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
As a Governance Administrator in our Justice and Immigration team, you’ll help ensure the highest standards of compliance and performance across the site, supporting a safe, secure and respectful environment.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain the self‑audit programme based on local risk assessments
- Coordinate audit activities and ensure timely completion across all functions
- Provide quality assurance across all aspects of the audit process
- Support governance activities as directed by the Governance and Compliance Manager
- Manage tracking and rectification of non‑compliance with stakeholders
- Undertake internal audits and produce clear reports and action plans
- Support external inspections including Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Prisons (HMIP)
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to work with a wide range of people
