Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
As an Administrator supporting the Head of Education in our Education, Skills and Work team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting learning and development within a secure prison environment, helping individuals build skills that support rehabilitation and future opportunities. You’ll ensure accurate, secure, and timely administration across learner data, examinations, and certification processes. Your work will support education delivery, inspections, and compliance – helping create impactful solutions that contribute to rehabilitation and a positive impact on communities.
What you’ll do as an Administrator Support for Head of Education
- Maintain accurate learner records, including enrolment, attendance, progression, and achievement data
- Ensure compliance with data protection, prison security protocols, and education regulations
- Produce reports on learner outcomes, attendance, and performance to support inspections and decision-making
- Coordinate examinations and certification processes, including registrations, materials, and results tracking
- Work collaboratively with tutors, managers, and prison colleagues to ensure accuracy and efficiency across systems
- Support continuous improvement by maintaining systems and promoting effective use of digital tools and processes

Vetting And Checks An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
