Ready to impact a better future? As a Systems Engineer in our Defence – Aviation & Space team, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful solutions across complex cyber and IT environments, supporting critical national security programmes and customer missions.

In this role, your work has purpose – you’ll contribute to projects that protect, connect, and enable vital services. Working closely with customers and delivery teams, you’ll help shape technical solutions, improve systems, and create positive outcomes that support communities and the future of secure digital infrastructure.

What you’ll do as a Systems Engineer

  • Contribute across the full systems engineering lifecycle within cyber and IT environments
  • Work closely with customers and delivery teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Carry out business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management activities
  • Support project delivery, including planning, risk management, and coordination of work packages
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders to develop technical solutions and approaches
  • Elicit, document, and refine architectural and business design requirements

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience in systems engineering across IT or telecommunications environments
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies, with experience in PRINCE2 and/or ITIL
  • The ability to solve complex problems, anticipate challenges, and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work closely with customers and stakeholders

Vetting and checks

UK residency required to attain and maintain a UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
