As a Swimming Instructor joining a friendly and welcoming team at Wyndley Leisure Centre, our goal is to encourage active, healthy lifestyles in an environment that is safe, warm, clean, friendly and fun. You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to each swimmer’s needs
  • Ensure safe use of all equipment
  • Follow safety standards in every lesson
  • Identify participants\’ abilities and encourage them to reach their full potential
  • Explain and demonstrate swimming techniques
  • Correct faults and suggest performance improvements

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Hold a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (Previously ASA) Level 2
  • Are a strong swimmer
  • Possess a valid RLSS UK NPLQ or RLSS UK NRASTC or STA Safety qualification (training available if needed)
  • Have enthusiasm and a big smile
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Are willing to go the extra mile to help your team hit targets
  • Are a team player
