Serco Leisure is recruiting for a Swimming Coordinator for our Wyndley Leisure Centre. You will play a key role in creating high-quality swimming programmes that help our community live healthier and more active lives.

Salary: £24,840 for Part Time (20 hours) / £33,121 for Full Time (40 hours) + Corporate Benefits Package

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • This split role offers autonomy, with up to 20 hours dedicated to teaching and 20 hours in a Swimming Coordinator position.
  • Leading and developing our Swim Teachers.
  • Managing and growing our swimming programmes – approx. 2000 children and daytime school swimming.
  • Driving customer engagement, retention and revenue.
  • Ensuring safety and high operational standards across the pool environment.
  • Managing school swimming, waiting lists and community outreach.
  • Supporting reporting, stock management and programme updates.

What You’ll Need:

  • ASA Level 2 or STA Qualification.
  • NPLQ or Rescue Test for Teachers (or willing to obtain qualification).
  • Experience in leisure operations and programme management.
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
