We\’re looking for a Sustainability & Social Value Manager to join our team at HMP Fosse Way, where you’ll lead transformative environmental and social value initiatives within a unique and community-focused setting.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead the site-wide sustainability plan and support our environmental management system (ISO 14001)
Deliver monthly utility and waste reports, and champion innovation in sustainability practices
Support and track social value initiatives across our multidisciplinary teams
Manage our Social Value Portal and help drive impact reporting
Oversee a large-scale housing project that includes acres of green space designed to foster community engagement
Present sustainability progress to internal stakeholders and contribute to wider Serco working groups
Manage and support our front desk team, while handling community engagement and complaints
What we’re looking for:
A strong understanding of sustainability, environmental compliance, and social value reporting
Ideally IEMA-accredited (or willing to study while in post)
Confident communicator with experience pulling and presenting reports
Passion for making a difference – to people, the planet, and the community
Some line management experience (preferred, but not essential)
