Serco have an exciting new role as a Storekeeper. The role is responsible for carrying out duties associated with the issue, control and accounting of stores and equipment for the Defence Academy and Lodger Units.
Main Responsibilities Of The Role Include
- Receive, Issue, Control, Manage and Account for all equipment and stores within the Defence Academy and Lodger Units in accordance with current regulations.
- Delivery of official MOD and Cranfield University Goods.
- Disposal of equipment in accordance with current regulations.
- Stocktaking and auditing of accounts / inventories.
- Providing stores updates on the monthly SPARR report
- Support to other departments within Logistics as required.
- Ensure that the working area is kept clean, tidy and hazard free at all times.
- Overnight tasking’s may be required, prior notification will be given.
What You Need To Do The Job
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Customer focused experience
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills
- Multi-joint deploy inventory (MJDI) experience (Desirable)
