Serco delivers health assessments that determine eligibility for benefits on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Key Accountabilities
- Act as the primary clerical support resource for internal and external customers.
- Manage telephone and e‑mail queries from third parties.
- Maintain customer files in line with data protection requirements.
- Dispatch information accurately via external courier.
- Enter data accurately into the CRM.
- Work within established processes and key performance indicators.
- Liaise with other teams and medical colleagues.
- Collate data.
- Perform general office administration duties, including documenting invoices, updating spreadsheets and filing.
- Carry out ad hoc duties as required.
- Demonstrate IT literacy: confident use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook to a basic standard (create letters from scratch, use spreadsheets to capture, update and store data clearly and logically).
- Read and send emails and attachments.
- Use fluent English language skills, spoken and written, in a clear, caring, courteous, professional manner.
- Show attention to detail in office administration duties.
- Possess keen organisational skills with respect to logical filing and record‑keeping.
- Deliver work to set targets and be self‑motivated, structuring daily activities for effective outcomes.
- Travel as required by the business and undertake other duties and working patterns as required.
