Salary: £25,272 per annum, pro rata plus Serco benefits.

Shift Patterns:
- 1600 – 2000 hours – 20h contract
- 1500 – 2300 hours – 35h contract
- 0700 – 1400 hours – 30h contract
Main Accountabilities:
Duties will include cleaning floors, work surfaces, furnishings and related equipment. You will empty, dispose and replace clinical and domestic waste as directed and ensure all equipment and materials required to perform cleaning tasks are maintained in a hygienic and safe condition. Hospital cleaning is a vital part of overall health and safety, as it’s a major contributor to controlling the spread of infections.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills – interaction with colleagues, patients, visitors and other staff on a daily basis.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety and hygiene practices.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and subject to DBS background check.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods of time with manual handling involved.
