Working Hours: 37 hours per week to cover a mixture of shifts including weekends.

At Shropshire Community Leisure Trust, our goal is to encourage active, healthy lifestyles and to be the destination of choice for an active community. We are looking to recruit a Senior Lifeguard to join our centre. The Senior Lifeguard will work within the centre, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care. You will report to the duty manager and, in the duty manager’s absence, manage the facility and ensure all activities are delivered to a high standard. You will also supervise specific activities, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and handle the safe setup of equipment.
About You
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience in a leisure environment and pool supervision, and who demonstrate a can-do attitude. You should be safety conscious, vigilant, able to deal with pressurised situations, have strong swimming skills, and hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society) or equivalent plus a first aid qualification.
