As the Senior Lifeguard, the purpose of the role will be to work within the centre whilst ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care. You will be reporting to the duty manager and in the duty manager’s absence, the successful candidate will be managing the facility and ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard. Furthermore, you will be involved in supervising specific activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and working on the safe handling and setup of equipment.
Without you, there can’t be any pool activity. But you won’t be working alone. Our leisure centre has a close-knit and supportive team, all working towards providing an inclusive leisure hub for the entire community. What you’ll need to do the role:
- Previous experience in a leisure environment.
- Pool supervision experience.
- Can-do attitude to get the job done.
- Safety conscious, vigilant, and able to deal with pressurised situations.
- Strong swimming skills.
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society) or equivalent & first aid qualification.
