Contract Type: Part Time

Working Hours: 32 hours per week covering a mixture of shifts on a 2-week rota including weekends

Role Overview

As the Senior Lifeguard you will work within the centre, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care. You will report to the duty manager and, in his or her absence, manage the facility and ensure all activities are delivered to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pool activities and enforce safety rules.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Safely handle and set up pool equipment.
  • Manage the facility during duty manager’s absence.
  • Support a close-knit, supportive team to provide an inclusive leisure hub.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a leisure environment with pool supervision.
  • Strong swimming skills.
  • Desirable: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society) or equivalent and first-aid qualification (training provided).
  • Safety conscious, vigilant and able to handle pressurised situations.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
