Technical Supervisor – Leisure Centres
Permanent, full time (40 hours per week – various working patterns available).
Site locations: Tunbridge Wells Leisure Centre (TN4 9TX), The Weald (Cranbrook) (TN17 2PN) and Putlands (Paddock Wood) (TN12 6NZ).
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM), statutory inspections and reactive repairs across building services systems and plant.
- Supervise technical colleagues and specialist subcontractors, ensuring safe, high‑quality, compliant delivery of all works.
- Oversee swimming‑pool plant operations, monitoring water quality and ensuring systems meet required standards.
- Respond to faults and breakdowns, diagnosing issues quickly and minimising disruption to operations.
- Ensure all activities meet health, safety and environmental requirements, providing technical guidance to site teams.
- Monitor system performance and optimise plant and controls to improve reliability, energy efficiency and customer comfort.
Qualifications
- A recognised technical or trade qualification with strong hands‑on experience in building services or engineering.
- Proven experience supervising maintenance activities or technical teams in a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety, compliance and industry best practice.
- Experience managing contractors and coordinating workloads effectively.
- Confidence using computer-aided maintenance or asset‑management systems.
- A valid UK driving licence.

This role requires a Basic DBS check and an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
