Receptionist – Space & Security (Part-time 22 hours – Mon-Tues 11.30am-16.30pm, Wednesday 7.30am-16.30pm, Fri 11.30am-15.30pm). Based in Hawthorn with occasional work at Colerne and other SDW sites. Salary Competitive plus benefits.
Serco is looking for a receptionist to provide related duties at MOC Hawthorn and undertake a range of administration and clerical work in support of the Serco SDW Contract. Undertake a range of service delivery activities within the office environment including mail room, room bookings, photocopying, filing and data retrieval, including efficient operation in supporting Registry, Security and the FM team. The role will be predominantly based at Hawthorn and on occasions assisting at Colerne and other SDW sites.
Main Accountabilities
- Present a professional and positive approach particularly when handling enquiries from customers in person, by telephone or email.
- Respond to emails in a timely manner ensuring customer queries are dealt with efficiently.
- Meet and greet visitors, liaise with hosts to ensure visitors are processed appropriately.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls, answer queries, re-route telephone enquiries to appropriate internal contact.
- Strive to continually improve service provided to the customer.
- Efficient operation of Matrix Meeting Room Booking system.
- Operate local Registry administration, maintaining the register of protectively marked files including internal movements/booking couriers for despatching high-level items, destructions, and auditing.
- Raise Help Desk requests on the CAFM system.
- Manage mail in / out.
- Carry out admin tasks such as, but not limited to, copying, scanning, binding, shredding, and laminating.
- Keep the Reception area in clean and tidy.
- Any other reasonable tasks as requested by the FM Finance & Compliance Manager.
What you will need to do the role
- Previous experience in a Customer Services/Reception/PA role.
- Good knowledge and understanding of MS Office tools.
- Computer Literate.
- Full and valid driving license.
- Ability to obtain SC Security Clearance.
