Receptionist Location: Basingstoke Aquadrome, Hampshire, RG22 6PG

Salary: National minimum wage plus excellent benefits

Schedule: 5 hours per week working shift- 4pm-9pm Fridays plus flexible to cover school holidays and holiday cover when needed

As a Receptionist in our Leisure team, you’ll be the welcoming face of the centre, helping every visitor feel informed, supported and ready to enjoy their experience. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our community active and ensuring people receive a friendly, efficient service from the moment they arrive. Your work will help create impactful solutions that support a positive visitor experience, strengthen trust with our customers and ensure our leisure services remain accessible, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone who uses them.

What you’ll do as a Receptionist:

  • Greet and check in customers visiting the centre and offer a warm, positive first impression.
  • Manage cash transactions and receipts accurately and safely.
  • Ensure up‑to‑date customer information is always available.
  • Handle first‑line customer enquiries or complaints with calmness and care.
  • Support customers by telephone, including taking bookings.
