Location: Homebased in the Home Counties with extensive travel across the South East

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00AM to 5:00PM)

VIVO, a joint venture between Serco and ENGIE, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to help strengthen quality and continuous improvement across our MOD Accommodation contracts. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative operational team where your expertise will directly influence service delivery, performance standards and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the South East & West RAMS Contract Quality Manager, you will act as a key liaison for all quality-related matters across the contract. You will work closely with operational colleagues, supply chain partners and our client to ensure that activities are completed in line with contractual requirements, internal processes and recognised quality standards. This role is integral to ensuring consistency, reliability and excellence across our accommodation services.

About the Role Working in a team of five, you will conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with contractual obligations and company standards, as well as undertake assurance sampling on completed inspections to ensure accuracy and reliability. Working collaboratively with both the client and operational teams, you will support the timely delivery of contractual inspections while contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the Contract Quality Plan.

A key aspect of the role involves identifying trends and analysing quality events such as audit findings, inspection actions and customer complaints, ensuring that lessons learned translate into measurable service improvements. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within company systems such as VMS and CAFM will also form part of your responsibilities. Data will sit at the heart of your work. You will lead on data collection, validation and deep-dive analysis to identify risks, trends and opportunities for improvement. Through clear, structured reporting, you will provide monthly and quarterly assurance reports that turn insight into action and support informed decision-making across the contract.

Collaboration and communication are central to success in this role. You will build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures. You will deliver training on VIVO’s assurance processes and systems, supporting both operational colleagues and supply chain partners in meeting contractual requirements. Representing the quality function in meetings, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence across the business.

What you’ll need We are looking for someone with proven experience in data analysis or quality assurance, who brings strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability. You will be confident analysing and validating data, writing clear and professional reports, and delivering training to a range of stakeholders. Strong communication skills, sound judgement, effective time management and the ability to prioritise competing demands are essential. A collaborative approach and full UK driving licence are required due to travel across the contract areas. Experience within Facilities Management or contract environments would be advantageous, along with familiarity in risk management, supplier performance evaluation, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, project or change management, and knowledge of current ISO quality standards.
