Location: Hinksey Park, Oxford, OX1 4RP

Salary: £14.06 plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Casual Contract working mainly weekends Saturdays and Sundays between 9am – 5pm.

As a Catering Assistant in our Leisure team, you’ll play a hands‑on role supporting daily food production and service that helps create a welcoming environment for the community. Your work will touch lives every day by ensuring customers receive great service and freshly prepared food. You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in delivering a smooth, friendly and reliable experience for everyone who visits. By helping maintain safe, efficient and high‑quality catering operations, you’ll create positive impact and support services that shape a better future for local communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver friendly, professional and helpful customer service
  • Prepare, produce and serve food in line with site standards
  • Support colleagues across food production, service and cleaning tasks
  • Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures
  • Support stock receipt, storage, rotation and basic record keeping

Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude
  • The ability to follow safety, hygiene and uniform procedures
