As an Operations and Systems Administrator in our Defence Maritime Services Next Generation team, you’ll help ensure the smooth administration of operational systems, vessels and personnel, enabling the successful delivery of critical maritime services. Your work will support contractual performance, operational efficiency and customer service across a complex maritime environment. Working closely with operational teams, vessel Masters, customers and key stakeholders, you’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating activities and supporting informed decision-making.

What you’ll do as an Operations and Systems Administrator:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential operational, contract and personnel records across a range of systems.
  • Support the administration of operational tasking requirements and respond to customer requests.
  • Manage vessel crewing and tasking records, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with purchasing activities and support operational expenditure processes.
  • Prepare reports and administration needed to support contractual delivery, training compliance and operational performance.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams, vessel crews and stakeholders to maximise service delivery and support operational objectives.

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards.
