Maintenance Operative - AASC - Dudley
Full time - 37.5 hours per week. Salary - £27,500-£33,500 depending on experience & skills, plus Serco benefits. Full UK driving licence required. Vehicle and tools provided.
Job Summary
Our team works with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to assist individuals through the asylum system, including temporary accommodation. As a Maintenance Operative you will manage all repairs - reactive, proactive and pre-planned - ensuring they are completed to a high standard and within our SLA deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all requested repairs and maintenance activities to the required standard and within SLA deadlines.
- Manage own workflow independently and collaborate with colleagues when necessary.
- Ensure the Health & Safety of yourself and all users of the property during and after works are completed.
- Purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers only.
- Inspect vehicles regularly and maintain them in a professional, clean condition.
Work Hours & Availability
- Mon - Fri, 7.5 hours per day between 08:00 and 18:00.
- Occasional out-of-hours on-call duties every 8-10 weeks to provide 24/7 emergency cover.

Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting or decorating.
- Full UK driving licence.
