Salary: £6,672 - £10,600.14 per annum plus excellent benefits.

Schedule: Part time 16 hours per week, flexible to work different shifts including early, late, weekends and bank holidays.

As an Elite Sport Caretaker in our Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre, you’ll help create and maintain a world‑class training environment for elite athletes at one of the UK’s leading National Sports Centres. Your work will ensure training facilities remain clean, safe, well‑presented and ready for use, supporting athletes as they strive to achieve their goals. By maintaining exceptional standards across the British Gymnastics and GB Archery facilities, you’ll play an important role in supporting high‑performance sport while helping us deliver a positive impact on athletes, visitors and the wider sporting community.

What You’ll Do As An Elite Sport Caretaker:

  • Maintain elite training facilities to exceptional cleaning and presentation standards at all times
  • Ensure facilities are safe, prepared and fully operational for athletes, coaches and visitors
  • Carry out routine maintenance, equipment checks and general upkeep activities
  • Follow reporting procedures to identify and elevate maintenance, safety or facility issues
  • Build positive working relationships with athletes, coaches, governing body representatives and colleagues
  • Support the delivery of a world‑class environment that enables high‑performance sporting achievement
