Chef de Partie
Location: Lilleshall National Sports Centre, TF10 9AT
Salary: £29,000 plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Full time, 39 hours per week, 5 days per week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends to support restaurant service, weddings, and events.
As a Restaurant Chef de Partie in our Citizens Services team, you’ll support the delivery of a high‑quality dining experience at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, preparing food at scale while maintaining excellent standards and consistency. This hands‑on role involves preparing meals for small groups and large events of up to 350 guests, creating positive experiences for visitors, athletes and communities.
What you’ll do as a Chef de Partie
- Prepare and cook meals as part of a team in a high-volume catering environment, serving up to 350 people.
- Prepare and cook dishes in line with restaurant standards and specifications.
- Ensure all food is produced to required quality, safety, and presentation standards.
- Follow and uphold all hygiene procedures, including temperature checks, food storage, and record keeping.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of menus and seasonal ingredients.
- Support kitchen operations, including delegating and completing cleaning schedules.
- Work flexibly across shifts to support restaurant service, functions, and events.
Does this sound like you?
- Food safety knowledge or qualifications and some kitchen experience.
- Experience working in table d’hôte or similar service environments.
- Confidence ordering stock and using basic computer systems.
- Understanding of seasonality and menu planning.
- A team‑focused approach with flexibility to support varied service demands.
