Salary: Paying up to £35,000 per annum plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily evening shifts. Must also be flexible to work weekends and occasional day shifts.

In this role, you'll lead the development and delivery of an established gymnastics programme, supporting participants from their first recreational sessions through to competitive performance pathways. Your work will have a positive impact on communities by helping young people build confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing, and achieve their goals in a supportive environment. You'll also play an important role in shaping the future of men's gymnastics provision, creating opportunities for growth and excellence at local, regional, national, and international levels.

What you’ll do as a Men’s Gymnastics Coach:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions across recreational, development and performance programmes.
  • Lead the Men’s Gymnastics Development and Performance Programme, supporting gymnasts to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor and develop the gymnastics programme to drive growth, retention and quality through a data-informed approach.
  • Mentor and support Apprentice and Junior Coaches, helping create impactful solutions and headroom for people to grow.
  • Delegate activities to Assistant Coaches and provide guidance to ensure safe and effective session delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records, promote health and safety, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and operational procedures.

Does this sound like you?

  • You hold a minimum Level 3 British Gymnastics coaching qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • You have experience coaching gymnasts across recreational and performance environments.
  • You hold a safeguarding qualification and are committed to creating safe and inclusive spaces.
  • You have excellent communication, organisational and customer care skills.
  • You can work independently and collaboratively while building trust with participants, colleagues and stakeholders.
