Location: HMP Fosse Way, Leicestershire

Hours: 40 hours per week

HMP Fosse Way is a Category C rehabilitation prison housing 1,715 prisoners focused on rehabilitation and reintegration.

As an Operational Support Officer you will be part of our operational support team, working on security gates, prison visits, escorting prisoners, staff and contractor support, and providing administrative and communications assistance. The role offers a chance to make a difference, with a supportive work family and competitive benefits. The prison operates 24/7; shift patterns follow a rota basis a year in advance, allowing you meaningful time off.

  • Starting salary of £25,889 per annum, rising to £26,203 after one year

You should have strong communication skills, a solid educational background in English and Maths (report writing and numerical abilities are key). The rest you will learn on the job.
