Lead Administrator – Course Administration Management Department

As a Lead Administrator in the Course Administration Management Department at the Defence Academy, you will play a key role in a transformative project aimed at enhancing service delivery across the Defence Academy.
Responsibilities
- Support the Hub transformation project.
- Promote, plan, and deliver administrative services across the Defence Academy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective service delivery.
- Process Course Members/Student arrival/departure from Shrivenham Station and maintain associated registers.
- Provide Course Administration support to our Military customers.
- Maintain course communication and documents.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Carry out after-course tasks such as reporting and other administrative duties on various systems.
- Cross-skill to support across the wider department.
- Mentor and coach new starters.
What You Need To Do The Job
- Proven experience in an administrative role.
- Sound understanding of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
- Ability to use a variety of communication methods (spoken, written, behavioural).
- Problem solving skills.
- Methodical, proven organisational skills, able to work under pressure.
- Teamwork and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- PC literacy, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- GCSE’s grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
