As a Project Management Office (PMO) Support Officer in our Hard FM Projects team, you’ll help ensure that essential projects run smoothly, efficiently, and safely – contributing directly to services that touch lives and support communities every day. You’ll play a key part in keeping our project managers equipped, informed, and compliant. By supporting governance, data management, reporting, and coordination, you’ll help create the clarity and confidence that enable good decisions, positive impact, and a better future for the people who rely on our work.
What you’ll do as a Project Management Office (PMO) Support Officer
- Enforce a rigorous reporting arrangement that ensures quality documentation from project managers, including time, status, risks, spend, and revenue or benefits.
- Deliver monthly summary reports, programme dashboards, project logs, and resourcing data.
- Maintain project and programme trackers, seeking updates from project managers to ensure accurate summary positions.
- Run reconciliation processes to ensure SAP and project finance positions are aligned, acting as the link to the Finance Business Partner.
- Manage and arrange senior stakeholder meetings, workshops, project reviews, and programme boards.
- Advise on and champion improvements across project management processes.
- Ensure compliance with Serco, Construction Design and Management (CDM), and customer governance for all Hard FM projects.
- Own and implement an SMS‑compliant governance lifecycle, ensuring reports are submitted and progress, spend, and risks are reviewed through senior management forums.

- Experience using Microsoft applications such as Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Computer‑Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems such as Concept Evolution, ideally within Hard FM projects.
- Knowledge of DWG TrueView and experience with reports and workflow tracking.

This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme, which involves a detailed check of spent and unspent convictions and other relevant information to ensure safeguarding compliance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can provide any necessary support to help you carry out your responsibilities.
