What you'll do as a Functional Assessor You'll be entrusted to:
- Speak with customers by phone, face to face or online.
- Carry out functional health assessments and gather accurate, detailed information.
- Consult with treating healthcare professionals where appropriate.
- Produce fair, high-quality reports on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions.
- Use your observational, communication and note taking skills to ensure every customer is treated with care and respect.
Does this sound like you? You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- One year of post registration experience as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Pharmacist.
- Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or equivalent), with an active PIN and no restrictions.
- Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to write concise, accurate reports.
- Good IT skills and the ability to work efficiently under time pressures.
Vetting and checks: All our Functional Assessors must successfully complete the full pre-employment security screening process, including an Enhanced DBS check, before starting in role.
