Your contractual working week is 37.5 hrs, with day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm. Flexibility is key, include weekends and bank holidays. A rota is provided approximately 10 weeks in advance, allowing you meaningful time off.
About the Role
On a day‑to‑day basis, you will visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment. You may work alone or alongside a Monitoring Support Officer. You build confidence in both the individual and the justice system, reassuring them of safety and helping reduce pressure on the prison system.
Training & Support
You will receive two weeks of training and be accompanied by a Training Officer on the road until you’re comfortable in your new role, after which you will gradually take on full responsibilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
We value commitment to making a difference over previous work experience. You must hold a valid UK driver’s licence, be reasonably fit, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
