Overview
Healthy Life Coach role at Serco in Buckingham, England, United Kingdom. Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time. Working hours: 3 hours per week (will increase as the scheme grows), Monday to Friday, day hours. Salary: £10 to £13 per hour + Excellent Benefits.

We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer-focused team – and right now we are looking to recruit for a Healthy Life Coach to join us. This is an exciting brand-new role which will see you reporting to the Facilities Manager to offer more than just exercise in the Buckinghamshire area. You will be there to provide exercise prescription and public health support, as well as supporting the local community with GP referrals for residents in the local area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct GP referrals.
- Ensure members of the public are introduced safely and confidently with prescribed exercise.
- Work with public health partners across Buckinghamshire and build rapport with local GP’s and health partners.
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience dealing face-to-face with customers with maturity and calmness under pressure.
- Fitness industry experience and GP referral experience is desirable.
- Essential: Level 3 GP / exercise referral and Level 2 Fitness Instructor.
